Common Questions
Straight answers, so you know exactly what to expect before you ever walk through the doors.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. You'll see everything from suits to jeans on any given Sunday. We care about who shows up, not what they're wearing.
What are your service times?
Sunday Connections Class starts at 8:45 AM, followed by our Worship Experience at 10:00 AM. We also gather for Midweek Bible Study on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM, and you're welcome to join our weekday Morning Prayer Call at 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
Is there childcare for kids during service?
Yes. Kidz Kare runs during our services so parents can worship without distraction and kids get age-appropriate teaching of their own. Just check in at Kidz Kare when you arrive and our team will take it from there.
How do I become a member?
Our New Members ministry walks you through a Membership Class and Water Baptism if you choose to be baptized. It's a straightforward on-ramp designed to connect you with the church quickly, not a long, drawn-out process.
What denomination is New Hope Cathedral?
We're non-denominational. Our leadership operates under the accountability of the Kingdom International Consortium, but we're not tied to a denominational hierarchy or governed by outside doctrine that doesn't line up with Scripture.
Is there enough parking?
Yes. Our eleven-acre Stockbridge campus at 1738 Fairview Road has ample on-site parking, with team members on hand during peak service times to help direct traffic.
Can I give online?
Yes. You can give securely online at any time — no need to wait until Sunday to support the ministries and outreach New Hope is running.
What actually happens during a first visit?
You'll be greeted the moment you arrive, guided to check in your kids at Kidz Kare if needed, and seated for a service that moves through worship, teaching, and response. Afterward, our team will connect you with New Members Services if you want next steps — no pressure, no spotlight, no awkward stand-up-and-wave moment.
Do I need to register before I come?
No. Just show up. If you'd like someone to greet you personally or have questions ahead of time, you can always reach us at info@thenewhopecathedral.org or +1 (770) 507-4673.
