New Hope Cathedral was built to serve Henry County, not just gather in it. Our Outreach & Care ministries exist to meet practical needs — food insecurity, grief, isolation, and community division — with tangible action, not empty talk. We've opened our campus to host civic town halls, including a 2020 District V community meeting with Commissioner Bruce Holmes and Superintendent Dr. Mary Elizabeth Davis, and a community meeting confronting human trafficking. Bishop Dr. Richard Leaphart-Mack serves as Senior Chaplain of the Stockbridge Police Department — a direct extension of New Hope's commitment to serve this community, not just occupy space in it.
